Can anyone (Bob) please advise .... ???we are having a re union with the Carrickmacross Cycling Club who organised the Ireland Coastal Cycle last year....It is for all participants and their friends....Some Ards Club are coming along with Maeve, Jim, Alan , Paul and myself.... ..to fly the Dromara Colours The two day cycle tour of Cavan - Leitrim - Longford, starts on Monday morning, 9 am. (everyone welcome). Our plan is to cycle to Carrickmacross on Sunday....but the question... can you plan this part of the route... Michael Smith (along with other club members)from Carrickmacross CC intends to meet us on route...should we go by Carlingford....he is open to suggestions....but I can't even negotiate with sat nav

The most scenic route is to Carlingford .....lovevly scrambeld eggs - Dundalk - Carrickmacross.....much more pleasant route than going cross country via Newry/Silverbridge/Crossmaglen.

Thanks for the info Judith.......are you not coming with us.........We have decided to take your advice and go the scenic route..... Our plan it to leave Dromara at 10am, head to Scarva for tea stop and take the tow path (same route that Bob took us earlier in the year).............if any one else would like to join, even for this part of the run you are very welcome
