Last Thursday saw the Thursday run down the towpath come to an end. I must say it was really enjoyable and i think it has done me the world of good.Time will tell!! Numbers were good ranging from 3 up to a dozen with 8 about the average apart from Garys one night stand with himself ;D Thankfully that was a one off. At the start i struggled with the pace but with plenty of encouragement i stuck at it. The weather was generally ok apart from the odd bad night. Punctures were quite rare apart from one night we had 5 and 4 were Ronnies!!!(His 1st punctured tube had 13 patches on it!!)As well as that he blew a tyre and rode home on it! Ronnie also fell off one night trying to balance and push the button at the lights ;D ;D Best bit for me was when we done all the off road bits which is great crack in the dark. The winter was certainly a lot brighter for me and always looked forward to Thursday nights. Cheers to the towpath crew and hope the crack will continue in the summer.
