OK OK I know Saturday is the night after our Christmas do... our legs will be sore from table dancing, mouths sore from singing (rock on Stephen with the music list please), our belllies sore from too much grub and heads sore (from listening to the person beside yee or from too much ale ??)... but who is up for a cycle Saturday morning 10am ... ideas here please!

Cycle sat morning sounds good. How about a nice gentle run to Newcastle to clear the heads . There is a new coffee shop opened down near the harbour, we could try it?

LIGHT WEIGHTS !!!! That is to those people ... who will be named and shamed that stayed in their pits getting their beauty sleep after a night out ... come on lads - you must be getting old!!! .. if yee can ' talk the talk, you're meant to walk the walk'!!!! .... Night out - absolutely fab!! , class craic, food and company - cheers to all who organised it Saturday cycle ..... while people were snoring in their pits a good crew assembled at Ballynahinch ( the real athletes!) Bob, numpty , William, Ronnie, Stevie Music man Phillips, Alan ( newbie) Ross, Pauline, numpty's sis and myself all headed towards Tyrella into a head wind en route to Maud's for coffee........ the pace was steady, alot of water drank and there was silence in the pelaton! ... obviously a few people a wee bit tired from the shenanigans the night before!... Had great grub in Maud's as the torrential wind wound up and it downpoured, poor Ronnie lost his gloves as they got blown across the road.. all us ' light wee things' were being battered by the wind ... back into Ballynahich as we practised our maneuvers in the group with about 45 miles on the clock I reckon ... great days cycling Sunday sing along...."It's raining, it's pouring, the old men are snoring" . As ..... only 2 little ladies (myself and Annieo) and 3 gents (Rocket Paul, Alan( newbie) and " Sir Dromara League Champion Deek" ) made it out on Sunday. Although it was drizzley when i left Teconnaught, by the time I reached Dromara we had blue skies and no rain. Had a great jaunt round by Spa, Saintfield, Killinchy and to Comber. Huge big puddles to go through and everyone got soaked even if they had mud guards!!! It was a very fresh moring, lttle traffic and everyone feeling in great form. Had a yummy lunch stop in Comber at SquareCoffee... very friendly towards cyclists and we got loyalty cards!!! ... hurrah! Deek and Anneio headed towards Carryduff, the rest of us went to Derryboye home. All good about 60 miles on the clock so a good day out I won't be out next week, so your ears will have a break!

Not out Saturday due to rare bout of childminding!
Sunday - Afternoon jaunt from home to Comber, Ards, Donaghadee return. Weather poor but legs great - 19mph average for 40 miles.
See the 'No Control' team next Saturday!
