This race had a field of forty despite the poor weather conditions.
Me,Darren ,Ronnie and Welsh John gave it a bash.
The fist lap was fast with any breaks being pulled back and i was happy to be in the bunch. As we turned into the cattle market on the 2nd lap my front wheel punctured
This really pi££ed me off as i felt i was holding my own.
Junior McCauley gave a wheel and i jumped into a small group and we finished the race working together.
There was a bunch sprint at the finish with young Downey taking 1st. Darren got an excellent 3rd and Ronnie 5th.
I actually enjoyed the rain and muck as it sure beats sitting in the house!
