Today Dessi, John and I went to Bangor to meet the group who are doing the Coastal Tour of Ireland . They had cycled from Carrickmacoss, this being the first leg of a two week tour. We are joining them on Saturday evening (7th July) in Westport. From here we will cycle almost 800 miles through Salthill, Listowel, Kenmare, Cork, Wexford, Dun-Laoghaire, Dublin and back to Carrickmacross ....(need a lift home).... The purpose of this cycle is to raise funds for charities, mainly the National Society for the Blind and Carrick Cancer and my personal one is Autistic Children. I have already raised some funds at the Hotel but any further help would be greatly appreciated or even if anyone would like to join the tour, the craic would be even better. Dessi and John also need a driver for the Guinness tanker....HGV1 licence essential....no experience necessary...all relative training will be given ;D
