There is a possibility of a trip to France to tackle L'Epervier on 21st May 06. This is 174km ride with 2300m of climbs. It would be a fundraiser for the Mitre Trust, based at Musgrave Park Hospital, and dedicated to improving patient services and funding new developments at Musgrave the regional centre for orthopaedics and rehab in NI. It is the week after the Coastal. There are direct flights from Belfast to Nice going out saturday morning and returning on monday evening. Any one interested?

Hello,
Yes I would be interested. I have just started cycling again after a knee injury which occurred after doing the Wicklow 200, hope to get a good winter in. How much sponsorship has to be raised and what travel cost involved?

It is very early days in the organisation of the trip and I posted it on the site to see if there were many members of the club interested. Keep an eye on the site or call me on 07808 569933

Yes Bill, I would be interested but I would prefer to go round the mountains rather than over them if possible. However with Bobs training perhaps by that time I might have improved. I am certainly interested in anything for a good cause.

Anne, great newsthat you may come. There is alot of organising to do still but I was thinking of setting the minimum donation at £400 to include flights to and from Nice, transport to and from St. Tropez , two nights accomodation and the race entry.
