Guys n gals, For those who are interested in cycling the glens without the use of flippers and snorkel. There will be a small group meeting at the City Hall at 8.00 am tomorrow morning to make the most of this freakish weather, rather than cycle with the ducks on Sunday. Ps. Pete, your friend Gavin will be there.

Saturday certainly seems the better option weatherwise. See you at the city hall at 8......but I'll probably hear Gavin first!

I can see why you choose tomorrow but i have to say if this were one of our tours and I read this thread I would take a dim view.
Hope you all send them a contribution towards the effort they put in to organise this event, road marking, sign on, food stops, support etc, etc. OK so a lot do the Wicklow and Border track without entering but then these to tours rip the arse out of it (unlike Castlereagh only charging £10) with the extortionate entry fees for no good cause.
Just when I am on a rant roll, did you notice this would have been the best weekend for the Tour of Ireland due to the bank holiday? Instead it's held next weekend more than likely due to clash the Tour of The Glens.
Next weekend is our well established coastal and what rubs more salt in is that Lisburn council (which Dromara is part of) are hosting/sponsoring the start.
Why couldn't they have found a free date around July?
