Good to read Pete, Davey and Bob's reports on Sat/Sun. Sorry I missed out opting to rest and try leaving this cold behind (I decided to call time when the hearing went!).
Pete's point about 'have a go' drivers is worthy of comment IMO, I think that is the argument for heading back via Drumaroad/Spa on quieter roads from Castlewellan.
I am not a great fan of the main roads selected. Whilst Pete mentions the main road between C'wellan and Clough I'll bet it was no picnic between Clough and Ballynahinch either with the traffic flows.
