Marigolds work for me, they come in Candyfloss pink or Banana yellow. Roisin wore the blue latex surgical gloves today under her gloves, but they're a bit thinner than the marigolds and people tend to give wee nervous jump when they hear the smack they make when you pull them on! Can't imagine why. Good luck.

R.S. I have seal skinz waterproof gloves which are also padded at the appropriate points on the palms etc and they are good at keeping the hands warm, even in really cold days too. You're looking at about £30-£35 for a pair depending on where you get them. I love mine, into my second pair. They're also quite hard wearing. Hope this helps you out.

I decided to give the seal skins a go.Got them today so had to road test them in todays wet weather. After being out in some fairly heavy showers my hands were still dry.I wouldnt say they are the warmest on their own but as i also use a thermal liner glove its not a major issue.Back home and just to be sure whilst washing the bike i stuck the hose on them also, hands still dry so looks like they do as they say..

R.S. Good to hear that you have made a good buy. You won't be disappointed, as i posted earlier im on my second pair. I've never had any issues with mine ref. warmth. The waterproofing is definitely a major plus. They should give you a good bit of service. I had a peak at those other gloves recommended by adrian, might purchase a pair of those bad boys. Can't really go wrong for the money.
