Hi
I am a keen cyclist and organiser of numerous charity cycle rides throughout the UK and further afield, having cycled across Kenya and Tanzania in the last month. I am currently planning two different charity cycles which aim to complete a 5-Nations cycle with both ending in Dublin via Larne and Belfast after travelling through Wales and England/Scotland.
I am travelling over to Ireland this friday with a view to selecting a good safe (but easily managed, navigated, signed and controlled) route from Larne to Newcastle - overnight in Newcastle, and then from Newcastle - Dublin.
I have downloaded various routes from Whiteabbey through Belfast - Comber and down the side of Strangford Lough but would like the opinion of active cyclists as to what they would suggest as an ideal route to send possibly 250 cyclists down which can be managed, signed and patrolled etc?
Best Regards
