It seems that Proboards who run this message board have had a problem with one of their hard drives and it seems to have affected our board. They have tried to recover the data from this drive but have had to resort to loading up a back up copy. A quote from the support team
"It depends on when your forum's backup was made, but from our records every forum was backed up at least once in July. "
