Just entered the run this sunday for over the quoile. Doing the 45 miler as I have to attend a function in the evening. Provided the weather behaves should be a good run out. It was a great day last year.

I cycled to Oxford Island and did the 50K Marie Curie event and cycled home - 84 miles in the heat and 2 punctures due to the usual glass on the towpath and around the Craigavon lakes. Anyway I am literally cooked and think I will only do the 45 mile option or maybe the first half of the 74 mile and head home.

What a roaster of a day!! A good showing from Dromara CC again at Loughinisland start. Once we set off we headed out to seaforde and through clough, on to tyrella, at a steady comfortable pace. Had a good run along the coast with Robert McDonald and there was a bunch of about 15-16 with us at this point heading into tea stop. Good, tasty sandwiches and tea at the strangford stop. On the way back John Clyde, Robert McDonald and myself set off at a brisk wee pace and we shared the work on the front between us for the return leg. Good company and good crack. Super day out. Many thanks to the lantern rouge guys for the refreshments etc.

Damien,Kevin,Peter B,Stephen W, Neil, Stephen J, Stephen P, Bob, Massimo,Gavin, Chris just a few names who graced the warmest day of the year on Sunday for Over the Quoile. There were more Dromara shirts there so sorry if I miss you. 75 miles was probably the wrong pick for me with being out of the saddle for so long and I certainly felt it by the time we got back. Thanks to Stephen P for the pull home over the last 5 miles. Another well run event, many thanks to the boy's from the Rouge.
