I am a mountain biker at heart, but do a lot of road miles commuting and when I cannot be bothered cleaning stuff after a ride.
I am road bike-less at the minute after getting knocked off a couple fo weeks ago, but have an On-One Pompino which I am trying to get built up.
I need spokes. But none of my usual haunts do spokes long enough for roadie wheels!!
I want double butted 294mm and 296mm spokes. Dave Kanes cant help, CRC only do spokes long enough for 26" wheels. Bike dock want £1.24 per DT Comp spoke (!)
Where would you guys source your spokes? I had an order of ACI Alpina spokes coming from TotalCycling.com but the postman has lost the parcel, they still havent resent it although they have been promising since monday to do so and I am about to blow a fuse if i cant get these spokes elsewhere and get these wheels built up sharpish
I'm based near Ballynahinch but will travel a considerable distance to get this done. Was going to try revolution cycles in newry as my next port of call

For parts I have used www.ribblecycles.co.uk, although never for spokes - but I have checked and they have 296 mm db spokes on their site

Cheers Shea Ended up having to go to bikedock and paying through the nose for them.
The Ribble ones come in boxes, they dont sell individual spokes, or more importantly, sets of 32!
