Boy racer types are doing the Ards 3 day. The pain, the heat, ...., well at least it is not like going over the alps, menchov looked like he wanted his mummy yesterday.

Pete and I were intending meeting in Killyleagh and then heading for the 9.30 boat from Strangford. We could all meet at the Quoile bridge at 9am.

I think they mean Sunday Maeve. I know Deek is tied up on Saturday's.
We plan to go over on Sunday but not sure if we wil set out as early as the rest. 10.30 ferry sounds good to me. Not sure what the tea halts are like over there so think we wil take a flask and some sarnies.

Thanks Bob for clarifying that. I spoke to Bill and you were right they were meeting on Sunday at the Quoile at 9:00am. I deleted the last post just incase it caused confusion. Hope everyone has a great day cycling. Good luck hairy bears in your race

Good luck with your endeavors on Sunday Maeve. Forgot to say... you'll never guess who was parked beside us on Achill, non other than Drew and Ruth Miller! You can go nowhere!

Saw Drew at Saturday's race . and was delighted he met yee in Achill ...... apparently Achill Island is a great place for cyclists .. with all the cyclists you met are you sure you weren't doing secret training

so secretive even I didn't know about it Great place to cycle but I would think there 40 mile would about cover most of the roads. Plenty of hills too We only did 95 mile in the 5 days. 2 20's and a 55
