The Ulster Sports Museum Association are appealing to people which may have information on sporting history in the province to contact them. The initiative which began earlier this year aims to create an Ulster Sports Museum in time to coincide with the 2012 Olympic Games being hosted in London.
Information can include interesting facts about cycling, key developments, and achievements of Ulster’s top cyclists over the years. Anyone who has memorabilia such as medals, trophies, jerseys, photos, and videos for example which may be of interest to people should contact Brian Morrison by e-mail (brian.p.morrison@btinternet.com).
It would be helpful if anyone who thinks of someone who may have such memorabilia or information but who may not have access to the internet could pass on the details.
