Christmas Dinner & Awards NIght will be held in The Temple Golf Club on Friday 4th December. The price is £26.75 and a deposit of £20 for each person going will be required by our next meeting on Monday 5th of October.
Could you please reply ASAP either here, by text on 07714 382158 or by email trevor@dromaracc.co.uk to confirm you are going and how many tickets you require.
I will also need all those with trophies to return them to me by our November meeting on Monday 9th.
As the end of the year is approaching we also need to start sorting out the club accounts. Could those few people who owe the club money for tyres, entry fees etc, please arrange to pay me by the October meeting

Hi Guys,
Something to make you laugh re our Christmas Party:
Every once in a while...In life...You run into a genius with a true talent!!
THINGS THAT ARE DIFFICULT TO SAY WHEN DRUNK: 1. Innovative 2. Preliminary 3. Proliferation 4. Cinnamon
THINGS THAT ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO SAY WHEN DRUNK: 1. Specificity 2. Anti-constitutionalistically 3. Passive-aggressive disorder 4. Transubstantiate
THINGS THAT ARE DOWNRIGHT IMPOSSIBLE TO SAY WHEN DRUNK: 1. No thanks, I'm married. 2. Nope, no more booze for me! 3. Sorry, but you're not really my type. 4. No thanks, I'm not hungry. 5. Good evening, officer. Isn't it lovely out tonight? 6. Oh, I couldn't! No one wants to hear me sing karaoke. 7. I'm not interested in fighting you. 8. Thank you, but I won't make any attempt to dance, I have no coordination. I'd hate to look like a fool! 9. Where is the nearest bathroom? I refuse to pee in this parking lot or on the side of the road. 10. I must be going home now, as I have to work in the morning.
Hope you all have a great nite on Friday (I'll be there - watching!)

Trevor has been informed that we will have the whole room to ourselves. This will mean that the awards presentations can happen before the meal with perhaps some in between courses and then the rest during coffee time. There will be lots of awards given out and should prove to be a great night. Look forward to seeing you all there!

I was corrected at the stew run regarding the prize for attempting the splits........it turns out Darren DID the splits. Hope this clears up any confusion.
