Dear all, There is an article on the Cycling Ulster website about the Access NI forms (click on link below). www.cyclingulster.com/?thenewsid=3557&newstable=newsWe are doing well with these forms but much more has to be done. Can the three members who I gave forms to on Monday night please call round to see Trevor to get them processed? I will email everyone else another form! I know that many of you have this form through your work, school etc. But for the others...

Re Access NI.
As some may have noticed in the newspapers today, from 30th November this year it will be a criminal offence to coach or even transport children, other than your own, to a sports club, ie cycling, youth club, church group or even school. This could affect over 11 million people in the Uk and the fine is up to £5000.
Access NI is a cheap, ie free way to get a certificate, that can be used with all organisations.
As Martin has said the form is straight forward and you just need to shown identification as with opening bank account etc, which Martin or I can do. It just takes a few weeks to process and that is it, quite painless really.
Could as many of you as possible take up this oppurtuity as you may well not need this for Dromara CC, but sooner or later you may well for another reason and knowing the government no doubt it might get expensive.
Trevor
