Hey it didn't sound like anyone was to keen on this. Here is the blurb from Cycling Ulster.....sounds way to easy for my liking....I do like the way they describe it as beautiful because I am sure when you are under the pain of a 1st cat beating you would taking it all in. Yeah that's it I will wait at the top of every climb for everyone to catch up.....
The Red Hand Road Race follows a route of some 65 miles around the beautiful County Antrim coast line. Starting at Broughshane and going via McGregors Cross to Clough through to Loughguile onto Turnarobert Church of Ireland and onward to Ballycastle, turning right and heading over the first climb of the Vanishing lakes before dropping down to Cushendall, Waterfoot and then round the coast to Carnlough to commence the final climb up towards Broughshane. The race will finish at the three trees on the outskirts of Broughshane at approx 1.30pm. (Caution is advised to all riders on the fast decent down from the Vanishing lakes to Cushendell) Like last year Ballymena RC will have a rolling road closure for this event.
