Not to many Dromara Jerseys at the Border Trek, in fact just the two, Maeve and myself.
We had a great weekend cycling almost 200 miles over the two days.
The weather started of slightly wet but soon brightened to glorious sunshine for the rest of the time.
Like the weather, we got of to not such a good start, when Maeve took a tumble not 25 miles out. However after getting patched up by the medics, removing a few bike parts from her anatomy and a few repairs and new front wheel on the bike by mechanics, almost 2 hours later we were on the road again.
A big thank you to all who helped us.
Now as you can imagine wounded and shocked as she may have been, this did not hinder Maeves chattering for the rest of the miles.
Overall, while we enjoyed the weekend, the trip was expensive and there were a lot of 'non cyclists' if I may use that term without sounding smug and the main reason for Maeves accident.
