Any one interested in making up a team to take part in the festival canoe race ? 6 people in a boat sounds like fun , starts at 6:30 on Saturday at Begney Lake. Let us know if your interested

The Roast team (aka Dromara CC) were second fastest in the qualifying heats with a time of 4mins 18secs.  We were drew against the fastest team in the semi final and just lost out as they had the inside lane  Maybe we peaked too early but i think if we get a training program underway we should be back next year with a vengance ;D I think we finished third but who remembers third?  Hope fully the club will buy a canoe so we can start training asap!! ;D Well done to all. We could have had 2 teams only Ronnie chickened out as he did'nt want to ruin his new teenager hair do!! |

a good nights craic had by all. went training on corbet lake today instead of the bike. got 30 mile done before 1.00pm . AND YES RONNIE HAS A NEW HAIR DOO...... EVEN HIS PET DOG WAS GIVING HIM FUNNY LOOKS.
