Just back ... safe and sound. Had a fantastic time. Completed the escape in 3hours 34mins.... 15 mins quicker than I expected so dead chuffed! Swim was very tough - did 1 1/2 miles in 48mins, the 18 mile bike was slow as it was all uphill and the road conditions down hill were full of earth quake cracks and pot holes so was going down hills holding the breaks!..... my 8mile run was ok - scenery was fab as was running on the beach ... Overall came 42nd in my age group ... 1147 overall .... This is me feeling very chuffed!
