What are people's thoughts on this Sunday?
Are we riding the "Over the Quoile" If so, are we meeting in Ballynahich before riding to Loughinisland?
It begins at 9.45, would we need to meet at 9.00a.m.?

I am on for the "over the Quoile", any ideas on the route?
Will meet in Loughinisland as it will be a more direct ride in for me from Killyleagh.
Looks like tonights race is gonna be kinda wet.

Anne
Bob described the route as being hilly/hard. I am taking the car direct to Loughinisland as I am bound to be "wrecked" at the end of the event.
See you there

Any one Know what the start times are for both rides on Sunday?
What time will we need to leave Dromara or B/hinch to get either ride?

I would like to try the 80 but I do not think I could cycle there and back so I too will bring the car and meet in Loughinisland at say 9:30.

No feedback on Sunday? How did everyone get on? I found Sunday demanding - dropped on the road to Dromara and only for Bridget from Lanterne Rouge talking me into carrying on I would have dropped out at the halfway mark. Got into a group of 4 on the road to Strangford and was towed round mainly by Brian from Lantern rouge. 4hrs 25 mins cycling time. Was I glad I brought gloves/leg warmers and rain jkt? may as well be reasonbly comfortable and c--p as opposed to totally wet, cold and c--p!!

It was a tad wet and dirty on Sunday. I couldn't feel my feet when I returned to the car. John the welshman's crank broke and his pedal no longer had the ability to be screwed in. I assume he got back alright as some guy from lantern rouge offered him a lift.

I felt moderately ok at lunch, a few ham sandwiches later I waved bye bye to the group and headed back into the wind for Killyleagh, firstly discomfort set in, secondly the digits in my hands began to complain, then I started swearing at the rain - always a bad sign...by the time I got the Quoile, I was ready to phone international rescue - then remembered I had no phone...crawled in...enjoyed the morning
