BL has volunteered to take us on an adverture around Dromara. Meeting at 7 pm in Dromara outside the Square One bar. Weather forecast on the great BBC shows Ballynahinch to be Cloudy with a high of 3 oC and a low of 2 oC so it'll be a barmy night, shorts all round ;D Hope to see lots of you there. BL is sorting out the hot drinks in the bar afterwards. Cheers BL

Four of us out tonight, Ronnie, BL, Alan and me on a wet December evening. We got in among the trees and took quite a bit of time finding the old route. The rain continued but the ground held up well. There was a lot of climbing over fallen trees but other than that the route was in good shape. There was only the occasion "lie down" mostly from Alan who couldn't quite get unclipped. He might need his 'wee' brother to fix that for him. Still a great course and much, much better than heading out onto the exposed roads. The temperature was hanging around 2oC. We were roasting after our cycle which was great considering we only did 5.6 miles in 1 hr 45 mins!!! As I said, we spent quite a bit of time finding the old paths. For those who were struck with 'man flu', you missed a great night but don't worry, we hope to do this again soon. Given the cold snap it was a more enjoyable run especially given the stories of riders falling on black ice on the tow path! No ice among the trees ;D
Next week has not been fixed. Ronnie is suggesting repeating his route from Ballynahinch although avoiding the big nasty climbs. Anyone else have any suggestions?
