A lot of riders are less interested in the towpath this year.
What about riding the back roads around Ballynahinch on the MTB's with lights, meeting in the town and doing a 25mile loop?
Let the comments begin ;D

I would like to ride the towpath a few times, just not every week. We have to go to Craigavon lakes some evening as it would be great in the dark. Hinch back roads sounds good. Also a few forest runs. Castlewellan etc...... ;D

Given that there is still some light at 7 pm we could meet at 7:30 for the first couple of weeks which might help remove some of the dreaded 'walkers' Ross' suggestion of using other locations is good but I personally would struggle to make the new venues for 7 pm (I can just about get to the Civic centre for 7 pm !!!!).

As long as we put the venues up 3 or 4 weeks at a time it would be no problem as Frosty says. I do a loop from Dromara to Drumkeeragh via the bridleways with hardly any road. Havent done it in the dark as that forest is way too spooky on your own!!!!!! even in daylight ;D
1.Towpath...Island Center 2 Bhinch...The Square 3 Dromara ...The Square 4 Cwellan Forest...Back Car Park or might be better in the town 5 ?? Craigavons a bit out of the way. All 6.45 for a 7pm start. If we keep it to 4 it is easier to keep track.
As they say variety is the spice of life!!
If we start off at the towpath we should leave it for at least 3 weeks as its a bit of a nightmare in daylight.
