Anybody fancy a Tuesday cycle?
If there was enough interested we could arrange to meet at a specific place/ time each week. eg: Ballynahich 6:00pm
Also I think it would be a good idea if we had a log of everyones mobile numbers . It means if any perons were going out on a random cycle they could text the crew and anybody who was free could join.
What do you think?? ;D

What about a nice flat-road chaingang ? What about Thursdays, too? That would surely be better than all that spinning nonsense. Not that I'll be doing much of anything for a while except all this big talk.

Hi numpty. Unfortunately I'm still in England and off sick from work. I have a diagnosis and there is actually something wrong with me which explains why I am suddenly totally incapacitated. I can't walk up a flight of stairs without stopping for a rest but at least I now know its not all in my head!! (The last time I was out I had BM and MC dropping me on all the climbs so I knew it was serious ) I have some medical appointments here over the coming weeks but will be in Ireland in between. I'll try and get out on the club run shortly, but trust me, I'll be slowing the group down and off the back on the climbs. My heart rate is very high so in an attempt at a quick fix to get out on the bike without fear of a coronary I got hold of some beta-blockers last week but this didn't help very much This is the third year in a row of some disaster in April which puts paid to any thoughts of racing. Fingers crossed for next year, but in the words of my GP, my racing season 'is over for this year' Hope you're well and looking after yourself - you'll be doing more cycling than me this year after all !! See you soon, John. PS Was looking forward to Newry Wheelers Tour of the Mournes. Ho Hum ...

I am at capacity without going through divorce proceedings, do think mobile exchange is a good idea on the odd chance I may get out.
John, rest up you welsh mad man, it i'll be 07 before you know it, the best form of exercise is recovery from exercise, or so I'm told.
This will cheer you up, ordered the fulcrum's - took two weeks to come, excitment building, I went in last week to pick them up with new ultegra cassette and unblemished rubber.....well saw them...did not get them.
Fulcrum are only producing for 10 speed cassettes now and my out dated ancient, decrepid nine speed will no longer fit onto the the redesigned shimano hub.
Bye Bye new wheels.

Yes John Get well soon and if you aren't up to it hit the couch hard! I'll do my best to improve my time trial performance enough to give you a good pull round at the start of next year, which will come around quicker than you think !! This will take a considerable effort to be fast enough not to be holding you back! and I am afraid my mates are going to come out to the tts and thrash me first outing!!! I'm going to put a £10 on Paddy getting into the 24's first or second attempt. Any takers?(all proceeds to charity of course!!)
