 Youth/1st Year Junior Training Camp
« Thread Started on Oct 9, 2009, 7:21pm »

The Cycling Ulster Youth Commission are pleased to announce the dates for this year's Youth Camp. The camp will take place in the Share Centre in Lisnaskea from Friday 6th November to Sunday 8th November. The camp is open to all Youth and 2010 First Year Juniors of all disciplines and is for both boys and girls.

The camp is being sponsored by The David McCall Cycling Foundation, Cycling Ulster and the National Youth Commission. This has enabled the organisers to reduce the price for the weekend which is only £45 per Youth Rider.

Please Note: All Bookings must be booked and paid for by Friday 23rd October

Parents are welcome to come along as well. Those parents holding a Cycling Ireland licence may act as Leaders and can be accommodated for the reduced fee of £55. Parents not holding a licence will be charged £94.Please Note: Parents acting as Leaders would need to be AccessNI Checked and on the Cycling Ulster Database of vetted leaders Forms may be downloaded from the Download Section of the website. Please complete pages 3, 4 and 5 in BLACK ink and return to me or Patrick McAleavey.

This is an ideal opportunity for young riders to learn more about cycling but also to get to know each other and have some fun.

There is a full programme of events lined up as well as Sports Activities such as swimming, combat corps and Fuss Ball.

A full programme of events, all details and a booking form can be downloaded by clicking the link below.

FROM MICHAEL MCKENNA

Hi all ,I was speaking to Kenny last night and he asked me to contact all clubs with youth and try and encourage all of them to attend our camp as a lot of work has been put into organising this. There are many clubs entered but some clubs have not done so and I would encourage them to give Kenny a ring and send their young cyclists.
