100 mile Time Trial Championship Sun 27th Sept
« Thread Started on Sept 8, 2009, 12:41pm »

New Ulster '100' Mile Time Trial Championship

Bann Wheelers Cycling Club will be hosting a 100 mile time trial on 27th September, starting at 8am. The event, which has not been run in Ulster for a number of years, will be held on the Woodgreen Course. The course should lend itself to anyone setting out to break the current Senior Irish record, currently held by Rory Wyley at 3h:51m:02s. It will also present an opportunity for cyclists to undertake a personal test and to complete one of the recognised epic challenges in cycling. Given the proposed start time pre-entry is advised and entry forms are available
by logging on to Bann Wheelers Website www.bannwheelers.com

The Cycling Ulster Executive have agreed to award the event Ulster Championship status if the entries exceed 10 riders. Team medals will also be awarded provided that the winning team compete in their registered club clothing.

Entry fee £10 and entry forms are to be returned by 25th Sept :)
