Thats crap Alan....i know EXACTLY how you feel Having that plaster is a right pain but once its off your ankle will feel strange for a day or two but time is a great healer. Is their any pins in it? Give yourself a week or 2 and then get on the turbo and get your leg on a chair....its not much fun but will relieve the boredom.
Anyway get well soon and you'll be back on the road in no time.

Thanks Martin I got an email from Trevor giving me his contact details. Christmas build up got in the way at work and any plans I had of joining any club before Christmas went by the wayside.
Anyway I agree it is probably much easier to discuss this with a call so will contact Trevor next month when things settle down again.
I have never held any type of CI licence so the cheapy leisure licence should be available to me.
Apologies for the delay in responding. Just bad timing on my part but then I should have known better given the time of year

The course is from 9.30-1.30 and will suit all abilities. The normal price is £50, but I have been given a special discount for Dromara CC members. I hope some of you will take this up, as it may help are chances of getting special discounts for other cycling things!!.
I may be able to also offer a discount to other Cycling Ireland Licence holders, not in Dromara,

Another good day, well done Ross & Martin. We had a nasty start to the day when we turned down a lane that was covered in ice, I was the first one down followed by Val then Caroline and then Alan. Just heard that Alan broke his ankle. Big get well soon to Al.

Thankfully both cyclists are ok.... Johnny and Desi (Olympian tri club) were out cycling. Johnny got hit from behind by a car. Johnny is still in hospital today recovering from his injuries of a broken collar bone and 3 broken ribs.
We wish him a speedy recovery and are thinking of him and all involved in the accident at this time .

It was a cold and icy morning for the start of the trailquest at Brennans Garage. It was a good day apart from the icy lanes so our team decided to head to Dundrum and there was no snow and no ice at all.
Well done to Ross and Martin for a great trailquest and look forward to the next one
hi came upon accident on a1 between hillsborough and dromore, looked as if low sun was a factor, two bikes as far as i could see one rider in the middle of road just wandering how they are doing.

Glad I made it to the final round otherwise I wouldnt have won my 1st Under 16 race!! The weather was excellent, even though it was freezing and the course was excellent, even though bits of it was covered in snow...
